I am a long time resident of the Northern Virginia area. I have lived in Prince William County for 35+ years and graduate of Garfield High School. Neil & I have been married for 29 years and have one daughter, Monica now married to a wonderful man. Approximately 17 years ago my husband & I owned a deli in Manassas and decided to sell it. This is when I decide to go into real estate. I have always had a career that involves serving people (ie. made them their favorite sandwich, soup, salad). Prior to that I made them look good (I was a hair dresser). Being very connected to the community I felt I could help some of these same people with the biggest financial decision in their lives--buying a home.
I have been a full-time real estate consultant for 17 years and a top sale associate with Re/Max & Long & Foster Realtors. I am a member of the Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce for 15 years. I am honored to serve as their Chair in '04-'05. I have served as Chair Elect Vice President of Programs & Membership Service for two years overseeing five committees. VP of Membership Recruitment & Retention. Chair of the Exhibit Committee for two years that was voted Committee of the Year several times. I've also been voted Member Of The Month and have been awarded a Gold Star Member. In '01 I was voted Chamber Member of the Year.
Along with contributing my time to the chamber I also do volunteer work. I have served on the site selection and family selection committee for Habitat For Humanity and was awarded Volenteer of the year. I also raised money for SERVE (a local shelter) one year as a celebrity waiter. I have been locked up for MDA twice, and recently I did the Light the Night Walk for Leukemia.
As my business grew I found it hard to give my clients they great attention I am known for. So in January 1998, I brought on two Buyers Agents and formed 'Jacobs Team Buyers and Sellers Realty'. It was a perfect match. Both CC and Patrick are very connected to the community and value the relationships we have with our clients before, during and after the transaction. Once a client always a client--you have us for life.
